Unmissable experiences on Exmoor
Dunster Castle
With panoramic views over the Bristol Channel and surrounding countryside, this medieval country home is steeped in history and has plenty to keep you entertained. You can get behind the scenes tours round the castle, visit the watermill or crypt and go exploring around the extensive gardens.

What I like about it
There's so much to see and do for all ages both inside the castle and in the grounds that you can easily spend a whole day here.
Valley of the Rocks
The Valleys of the Rocks, located a small distance from the village on Lynton, is famous for its herd of goats, its geology an its spectacular views. It is ideal for people wanting to see stunning coastal views and adrenaline-seekers who want to can summit the highest rocks in the area.

What I like about it
The views are breathtaking along the coastline. There are also a variety of walking routes varying in difficulty and length.
West Somerset Railway
With 20 miles of railway line along the Bristol Channel Coast and through the Quantock Hills, the West Somerset Railway is the longest heritage route in Britain. There are ten stations along the route, all of which are worth stopping off at.

What I like about it
It's a wonderful and picturesque railway line. You can hop on and off the train and explore some of the lovely locations enroute.
